Charter Hat

Good adventure hat but I have mixed feelings ! I purchased it for playing golf and currently I am using on my summer adventures. Hat worked great last 2 weeks, but after first hand-washing session is now full of wrinkles. The hat does its job, no discussion at all, but the wrinkles issue after the first wash is undesirable.

I absolutely love this hat. I use it for everything. Hiking, kayaking, yard work, etc. is super lightweight and comfortable. Unfortunately I lost my first one kayaking (which was my fault) but I replaced it with another one. I couldn't imagine not having this hat.

I've owned this hat for at least 7 years, maybe longer. Its been with me to many national parks, monuments, campsites, and countless other adventures. I've got a small head so the internal size adjustment helped out a ton and Ive not touched it since I set it to my size way back when I first bought the hat. I really don't feel like myself out on the trail unless I’m wearing it. Its light enough that I don't notice it and robust enough to keep the sun and rain out of my face. I love this hat.

Bought a Charter Hat about 2 years ago, Washed as per instructions on the label. After washing/drying, the fabric
around the hat wrinkled.
Though a replacement was offered with shipping cost extra, the quality of this product is not to the exceptions
as featured.

I bought in California and brought it to Chile this summer, amazing hat !

Strategic ventilation doesn't work.

Moisture wicking sweatband works really good !

Had mine for a few years now. Everything has held up well, except over repeated saltwater spray exposure, the rim will warp on you. Haven't found a good way to return it to its original shape. Might be able to avoid a little if you hand wash immediately after exposure but who is honestly going to do that

It was a fathers day gift from my wife and kids about 2 years ago. It goes with me to the beach, pool and any outsoor activity

My Charter hat works for me. I don’t have to look for the shade, I’m wearing a it. Looks good, too!

I've had my Charter hat now for several years. It is my all around hiking/photoging hat. The only issue I have is the interal adjustment only adjusts the back, the strap does not adjust around the whole brim. Thi not only causes the back of the hat to bunch up but it pulls the front and back too tight. My DUY solution was I used some paracord, pulled it through the back of brim band and used a compression clip in the back. Bingo! It still holds my sunglasses and the fit is more excellent.

As a landscape/nature photographer, I needed a hat that not only covered my bald head and eyes but my neck too. Always worried about sun exposure, SPF 50 rating is great. I have tried other wide brim hats but the back brim would hit my backpack, would turn into a bonnet when wet, and did not have good ventilation so was too hot. I got this hat about two years ago for b-day. I wear it on all my hikes, all seasons. The fit is well and the sunglass holders are a plus. People have asked from my video blog what hat it is so I tell them about not only your company but the hat. The Charter has held up well in the rain and scorching heat (Southern Alabama). It is a little dirty and sweat marks that have given it character. The chin strap can tuck up nicely in the inside pocket but has come in handy on windy days. I love the "pack flat" when traveling. Whenever I wear this one out, I will order another. Thanks.

This is a great hat! I bought it for my husband. His last hat was too round. This one is slightly oval. The ventilation near the top is great, as is the strap- which helps prevent it from flying off!

My husband loves this hat. He wears is all the time in warm weather. It helps with the sun and heat due to the structure and ventilation. Definitely 5 stars.

Great hat. The El Paso sun is brutal, but this hat blocks it very well. I was worried it wasn't wide enough to provide shade, but it has it covered, pun intended.

I bought this as a gift for my adult son and it is perfect. He’s a guy who normally just wears a ball cap and he really likes the look and protection of this hat.

It's perfect, I really enjoyed my first one and had it for years but lost it. Love the new one, I'll wear it proudly on my trip to Japan.

Love this hat! It fits perfectly and is adjustable. The brim is just the right size. The color is great. Highly recommend.
