Vivian Hat

So, this is my signature hat. I am a female fishing guide and it took me a long time to find the right hat. The Vivian is THAT hat. I am hard on my hats, so I'll say I go through one of these hats every 2-3 years. 
Things I love about this hat: The floppiness protects my face and neck from the sun, it's stylish and feminine, I can tighten the stampede strap when the wind kicks up. 
Things I don't love: The stampede strap is leather and wears out over time. The bead wears the strap out and Sunday Afternoon have replaced the hat for me because of this, but with my last one, I ended up repairing it myself with a much stronger material. Also, when the hat gets a little wet, it smells like a horse.

A super stylish hat that I was thrilled to add to my chapeau repertoire. Imagine my chagrin when, like so many before it, I brought it to rest upon my noggin only to find that it was not up to the task of containing the girth of the substantial melon north of my shoulders. I am hoping that in time the felt may mold to my dome, but alas, thus far it just ejects itself from my head like so many broken dreams tossed asunder. Sunday afternoons, I implore: women with large heads enjoy fashion, too! Please offer aesthetically pleasing hats in larger sizes!

I just received this in the mail the other day after I decided I need to start taking sun protection more seriously after a skin cancer scare in 2020. I'm hoping this won't be too hot for summers here in Minnesota so I can wear it year-round. I LOVE this hat and the adjustable strap as well as the ability to adjust the inside of the hat to make it tighter around my head.

I'd been scouring the internet in search of a hat like Stephenie LaGrossa's in Survivor: Guatemala. Opted for grey in lieu of brown and couldn't be more pleased!

This is my winter sun hat. I use it in combination with lightweight ear warmers. It's adorable, warm and protects me from the winter sun.

More of a floppy hat then a hiking but very cute. The color is beautiful too.

I've purchased many hats from this company over the years and usually love them. But this hat is so flimsy that the brim is constantly falling in my face and has no body. I contacted them and they refused to let me return it. I have the Taylor hat which I love but it doesn't have a chin strap for windy days so I bought this hat, but I really don't like it. I'm disappointed in it.

Stylish and keeps my face completely protected from the sun. Exactly what I was looking for. I bought two hats, which were packed together with care. They arrived in perfect shape. First time ordering from this company and I will definitely be back and recommend to my friends.

I really love this hat even more than I thought I might. It truly has a 4" brim, which in New Mexico is required for adequate sun protection when sensitive skin is involved.
But the best part is how fun it is to wear. I feel fun and elegant wearing it for dog walks and by-passers in cars always smile and wave! I love the color, and I love the chin string to keep the hat on no matter the breeze!

This hat arrived in great condition. It has the size of brim I was hoping for and is fun to wear.

I've never owned a wide-brimmed winter hat, but I'm so glad I now do! The brim has enough structure that it doesn't fall down into your face, but soft enough to ripple -- it's just right.

I was diagnosed with malignant melanoma and wished to keep up outdoor activities in the winter. My summer hats are not warm enough so I looked for a winter sun hat. I am very pleased with the quality of this hat and the protection it gives me. I have a small head and the crown is adjustable. I also love the chin strap as it tends to get windy where I live. I have recommended this hat to a friend and would purchase from this company again!

This is my second Vivian Hat. I first got the tan color over 3 years ago and it has stood the test of time and faded slightly to character. It is comfortable to wear in heat as well as cold or strung across my back when inside as it is crushable and light. I collect multiple compliments from all kinds when I wear it!

I love this hat so much. I stumbled upon it shopping for summer hats and had to buy it for fall/winter, because I've been looking for a hat like this for over a year! Fits to size. The floppiness of the felt brim is just right. The hat is just perfect. I got it in Fog. Very happy with it.

I have been searching and searching for a warm sunhat with a wide brim for winter. As one who battles skin cancer I need sun protection year-round. Thank you for providing an attractive hat that is both warm and protective. Would love to see a similar version with a stiff rim that would stand up to wind as well!

I have this hat in both colors and it is by far my favorite of all of my hat collection. Very stylish, comfortable, flattering and functional all wrapped up in one hat. Wish there was a summer version of this!

It is good for winter, the brim provides good coverage from the sun. I like the strap because it gets windy here during winter, and keeps my hat from blowing away. It is very stylish!

I wear hats everywhere for sun, wind, and rain protection. This is the perfect style for the winter months, and I have it in all three colors. It's beautifully elegant, but best of all, it's so convenient to fold up in my purse once I go inside, and it's easy to unfold again and place on my head when I'm back outside. Owning all three colors, I now have winter hats to coordinate with everything I wear.

Great for cool weather, great brim to keep the sun off. It is a comfortable fit, and will be an asset to the wardrobe.
